Using the Toolkit
This toolkit was designed for staff and leadership of health-related nonprofits in Georgia. While the content is appropriate for staff with limited evaluation experience, it also provides tools, templates and resources for those with more evaluation experience.
There are two ways to use the toolkit:
As a course, the materials provide a comprehensive review of basic concepts and practical steps for conducting an evaluation. Those new to evaluation should go through the chapters in several sessions.
As a resource, individual chapters or topics of interest can be selected for immediate use. This may be more appropriate for people with evaluation experience.
There are several levels of access to the toolkit: 1) The general public can access the majority of content. 2) Registered users can download worksheets that walk through the process of developing an evaluation plan. 3) Foundation grantees can store evaluation documents and communicate with ERC evaluators through the toolkit.
