Initiatives & Programs

Partnerships with nonprofit health organizations are key to Healthcare Georgia Foundation's mission to advancing the quality of healthcare and achieving health equity for all Georgians. As the largest healthcare foundation in Georgia, we are helping Georgians achieve access to quality healthcare and achieve health equity through strategic grantmaking support and work in the following four priority areas:

• Addressing Health Disparities
• Expanding Access to Affordable Quality Health Care Services
• Promoting Health and Preventing Disease
• Strengthening and Sustaining Health Nonprofit Organizations, Programs, and Workforce

Based on these priority areas, Healthcare Georgia Foundation has many areas of grantmaking interest including advancing public health, childhood obesity, health policy, and infant mortality. Active grant programs and initiatives include The Two Georgias Initiative, Direct Services Grant Program, and EmpowerHealth Capacity Building Program.
